Happy 2009!
This website is about simplicity: it creates a place where folks who want to catch-up, wherever they are in the world, can come by for a spell. Ideally, it will mean we will share stories and talk at some point as well.

...2008 saw a big change for Marloes and I as we quit our life in San Francisco and moved to Leiden, The Netherlands. This meant leaving our great friends and life that we built up over eight years in the Bay Area. However, we were ready for a change of setting and feel that when we are ready to return we will be all the more refreshed for this break. I'm taking the opportunity to get another masters degree (in Finance) and Marloes is enjoying having an opportunity to visit her friends and family (as am I!). We got a wonderful new doggie, Lucky, a cute boxer. As well, we recently bought a car so we can travel about Europe...
